Privacy Policy

KaHoDev is a personal frontend interview preparation platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently.

Account information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL from Google. We store this in our database to identify you across sessions.

Content you create — Notes, code snippets, and problem progress that you create or save within the app are stored in our database associated with your account.

Usage data — We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising cookies. We do not collect behavioral data, browsing history, or device fingerprints.

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To display your name and profile photo in the app
• To store and retrieve your notes, code, and progress
• To enforce role-based access control within the app

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the app's core functionality.

Your data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Supabase encrypts data at rest and in transit. You can review Supabase's security practices at supabase.com/security.

Authentication is handled via Google OAuth 2.0 through Supabase Auth. We do not store your Google password.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Google — only to verify your identity during sign-in
• Supabase — as our database and auth infrastructure provider
• Vercel — as our hosting provider; they process HTTP requests but do not store your content

We use browser localStorage to store your authentication session token (managed by Supabase Auth). We do not use third-party cookies or tracking cookies. No consent banner is required because we only use strictly necessary storage.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your stored data
• Delete — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Correct — update your profile information by signing in again with an updated Google account

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove all your personal data and content within 30 days.

KaHoDev is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy periodically. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
